Jena Six

9/20/07
First let me say that since the Jena 6 situation has been in the media=have heard at least four to five different things=????=meaning really wondering what is the truth=????=This morning heard on the local news Channel 2 that there were going to be bus loads of people who were leaving the Triad area to go the the Jena six demostration and they asked that all who could not participate in person who wanted to be a part should wear black!=???=Being that I asked prayer for the Jena six before the big public awareness, I asked God some questions concerning the situation=to make long story short=some of my questions=Why couldn't/didn't the African American boys go and get their own tree=????=what was so special about that particular tree=???=then there was the question=Why did they have to ask permission to sit under the tree=????one of the local news station reported that they were given permission to sit under the tree=???=To make long story short=the people who sentence the African American boys=who were in charge of the situation do not think that they did anything wrong=Why=???=because that is the way things flow in thier city/town=????And they really don't see or understand what all the commotion is about=which would be typical in any city in the United States of America with the exception of maybe a few=???in other words, the actual inactment of enforcing the laws associated with civil rights has yet to be established in most cities=????=most African Americans know this, but those who get special priveleges (in-house-niggers=lack of better word)=are allowed to have blinders on=meaning they are identified as African Americans who are exempt from experienceing what the Jena six have experienced=???=!!!!

So again, in order for those who were/are in charge of Jena six situation, to KNOW that what they have done is abnormal=they really have to be given information in a manner in which they understand what/and why they are wrong=that is IF there is be a form of peace=or if anyone really wants to try and have peace=one of the possible methods in which the information can be given to them may be through giving them other court cases throughout the United States in which gangs of students/teenagers/young people have beat up other students/teenagers/ young people=both of the same race and different races= In other words the situation is really quite common=did not say it was a good thing=but it is common=don't know if it is more common among those of the same race beating up thier own kind or if it is more common for another race to beat up another race=do know that the concept of many students/teenagers/young people beating up one person is more common than most people want to admit=in fact as I think about it=based upon work in school systems=it even starts in kindergarden=??????

Again IF is to be a form of peace=or if anyone really wants to try and have peace=there are methods other than the same demostration methods=???in which attention is brought to the same problem=???=when will the solution appear=This morning when they asked people to wear black to show support=God said they would do better to say a prayer=and as I went through the day=specifically to the public library on 5th street=something led me to a book about consulting in which it was dicussing how to be a good consultant(the Secrets of Consulting by Gerald M. Weinberg)=and it had a quote="The best way to lose something is to struggle to keep it!!!=????=meaning that if something is already yours, when you struggle to keep it, you lost it=which is what is taking place concerning the Jena six=demostrating is good=but the people would do better to have fund raisers across the country for the Jena six legal fees=or start a petition to be presented to those in charge=etc.=in other words there are many more ways to show support for the Jena Six to establish that their being done wrong in not acceptable=In other words=it is time for African Americans to stop struggling to keep something they already have=how many Caucasions do you see demostrating because they feel their rights have been violated or because a Caucasion has suffered an injustice=rarely=!!!!!????=Why=??????=

In terms of the real issue, which is the application of the laws= or better yet=who is applying the laws=(which is out of the hands of the average person)=based upon my academic education= but is really up to those who are within the system of the application of the law and will have to be the leaders and decide the application(s) of the law concerning the Jena six=For example=the Darryl Hunt case=those in charge of the application of the law decided for over a decade that Darryl Hunt was guilty=DNA. etc=was presented over and over again=but Darryl Hunt was guilty until they DECIDED that he was not guilty=and remember they had many a demonstration for Darryl Hunt=So as someone said=It is hard to reason with power=????Why=???because Power does not have to listen=Power can do what it wants=en in the process of demostrations=power still does what it wants=like with the Darryl Hunt case=and until Power has a change of heart to listen to another view=??????

To give another good current example=On CNN =there was a case in which a young African American female had been kidnapped, beaten and tortured by six white (Caucasion)(sp) adults=first the six Caucasions have not been identified as a group=really haven't heard to much about it=the mother said she wanted the situation to be put on television so that people could see what was done=but CNN never really showed the child's face, only the bruises, burns and cuts on the girl=you almost have similar situations=in fact the situation with the six Caucasion that committed torture on the African American girl really is worst= because they kept the girl locked up as a prisoner=don't know what their sentence is, but bet you they don't get life in prison=?????=neither do you see much about their case in the news=WHY=in other words you have two similar situations=but why the need for demostration in one case and not in the other=in both cases one person was victimized by six people=the teenage (Caucasion) white male went to the emergency room, was released(according to my television) within three hours and went to a social function at the school on the same day=his abusers (teenagers-not excuse them=but there are more in a learning phase of life) were sentenced to life in jail=both cases=But in the other case=the teenage (African American) black female was put in the hospital for days=???=but her six abusers(all adults) faces were hardly flashed on the television screen=and interesting there was no demostration for the young African Amrican female=!!!!!?????????=In both cases, the results will be determined not by demostrations but by the application of the law(s)=which why no demostration for the six abusers (Caucasion)white adults=society KNOWS that Caucasions recieve justice and more than justice when they go to court=therefore there is no need for a demonstration concerning the six Caucasions recieving injustice=Can somebody pray for the young African American female who was the victim
